Trans-Siberian railway, Pt.2
DAYS 5-7
Left from Irkutsk early tuesday morning, and reached Vladivostok early friday morning, local time. All the platskartnys were completely full for a week or so, and I had to get a kupe. The 2nd class. BORING. Not much to tell about the trip, except that the costs were doubled to the ticket which i got from Moskow to Irkutsk.
But I met a nice couple from France: Arnaud & Marie. Actually, met them briefly already at Olkhon Island, but didn't talk so much there.. was quite a coinsidence that they ended up to the SAME vagon.
So we three of us + a soldier called Ruslan (who didn't seem like a soldier at all to me, he was way too cool to be one) and older lady Natalie just drank and ate and played a Russian card game called Durak (idiot). Simple and funny game.
So there the 3 days passed, and now I'm in Vladivostok, and more stories from here as soon as something happens... :) Going to hunt for an accommodation now.
