Going to KUWAIT AND OMAN


Well guessed, we really are going to Kuwait and Oman, and it really is really interesting trip to really happen!

We have bought plane tickets as follows: Helsinki -> Kuwait, Muscat (Oman capital) -> Helsinki. We don't have the tickets Kuwait -> Muscat yet but this is soon arranged.

How we decided to go?
We visited Riga 2 years ago. Our friends, Tomi and Vera, happened to visit the town same time and they were talking about moving to Kuwait. As a joke, we promised to visit them one day.
A couple of months ago we were thinking about our next adventure and Virve reminded me about this promise. So I contacted Tomi, how about it! If we really come? Tomi and Vera very welcomed us and as they were planning a trip to Oman themselves during the time we would be coming, we ended up coming along.

We have planned our trip a bit. A couple of days in Kuwait propably just hanging out and wondering about the city, getting used to the heat and then a flight to Oman where the real adventure begins: We are going to hire a 4WD car and do some camping at some beduin camp, do some trekking, diving in the gulf of Oman, maybe ride a camel and so on. Will see if some of this is actually going to happen: Virve and I can't still believe that we really are going....
