Vladivostok, the Russian San Francisco.

This was my first impression of the town when I arrived here. Same kind of hilly landscapes, located at a seashore, friendly people (!!! first time I felt this kind of behaviour in Russian city, warm and smiling, welcoming, even in customer service!), Frank Sinatra is played through the speakers on the street, Russian hippies playing guitar and singing to earn some extra roubles, secondhand stores all around.
The architecture reminds me a bit of Lviv, Ukraine though. Which is a city I liked a lot also, so this is quite a nice combo of San Francisco and Lviv. Can't complain really!
Weather's been really pleasant, sunshine and +20...+25.
It sure doesn't feel like I entered a city that was closed until CCCP collapsed, and was closed to tourists until 1994.

I went to see the famous submarine. It is told that it was the strongest one during the WW II (someone correct me if I got this wrong :)). The submarine is now as a museum. And very interesting one. Would really be a cool experience to get a ride aboard on one of these one day!During the peacetime of course...

But one thing I don't get here: Why the cars have the wheel on the right side, when also traffic is right sided!?!?!? Someone !пожалуйста! tell me the reason!

Autojen ohjauspyörän sijainti oikealla johtuu varmasti siitä, että siellä on varmaan paljon autoja, jotka on tuotu käytettyinä Japanista tai Koreasta ja ovat siksi oikealta ohjattavaia
