Stories of Piter, Moscow calling now

After one week in St.Peters it's time to move on. Could easily stay here for another week at least, or maybe even a year like my friend Teemu (good luck mate, I little bit envy you!). But now Moscow calls! I travel there by train tonight. In 3rd class, which is called 'platskartny'.

But what happened here in St.Peters! Hanged around a lot of course... Then of the essentials; I climbed up to St.Isaac's cathedral colonnade to see the panorama view of the city. I visited the Russian Museum and Hermitage of course. Spent about 2 hours only in the room of Ancient Egypt. Very very fascinating. I NEED to go to Egypt!!
Someone else who knows more about art would enjoy more of the Da Vinci's or Michelangelos though... Analysing them... or something.
Went also to Peterhof to see the 'Russian Versailles', palace of Peter the Great and its parks and fountains. Verry beautiful, totally worth going there. AND: If you want to enter for free, just climb over the fence ;)
Then one night Inna took me for a hectic bicycle-race around the city to see the bridges of Neva opening. Same time had possibility to see the glory of the city by night. We had a little bit stress with my bike; when we got to the center, the chains started to fell off all the time. And we needed to get to another side of Neva before all the bridges were opened. Fortunately 2 friendly taxi-drivers helped out as we didn't have any tools with us. They tighted up the chain for me.

I have gotten into бочкарев пиво. Really tasty. I think I'm going to drink this all the way in Russia.

After one week I have spent here approx. 23 euros / day. This includes everything: transportation, entrees to museums... everything. This is pretty good as I hoped I'd spend some 30 euros / day or less... but of course this can change to any direction from what it is now.
But now, St.Petersburg says bye bye; hear you from the Russian Capital!
