GOULBURN'S MIDDLE ARM

It was a strange feeling to meet Andrew at the Goulburn train station. It was 6 years ago since we last met and said goodbyes in Finland. He has a house at a farm in Middle Arm about 20km away from Goulburn, and he drove us there right-a-way. He had really put effort to our visit here: For instance, borrowed a child seat to his car and installed gates to the stairs! And a full fridge of beer for me..
We have been here for 8 days now and we are leaving following saturday to Melbourne by a night train.
Vilja is enthusiastic about the hen Andrew has 5. Keeps chasing them.
It has been absolutely fantastic time here at the farm. At times I think that why would anyone ever want to move out from here?

We have done two daytrips from here with Andrew: One day went to the beach to Kiama via Kangaroo Valley and Berrima, where we saw a famous 'blow hole' and me and Andrew went for a swim. I think I have swam in Pacific in three places now: Vladivostok, Los Angeles and now here in Australia.
Another day went to the made up capital Canberra, where we saw the pictoresque view over the city and then awesome sunset in a park. It is funny how we have 'ruska' here now as it is a fall.

We still didn't spot any kangaroos! I'm starting to think they're a legend animal. Do they really exist?

First time in my life things here in Australia:
-Baked and made a pizza in a real pizza oven
-Drove around by a jeep in the field
-Drove in the traffic of Goulburn ('wrong sided' traffic) and didn't crash
-Tried cricket in Canberra

We all are stayed healty, instead of a little problem of Virve's hip which is already feeling better as well.
